More than 93% of communes and wards have completed withdrawing funds to spend on National Day gifts.

(Chinhphu.vn) – The State Treasury has coordinated with local agencies and units to urgently deploy the payment of gifts to people. By the morning of September 1, more than 93% of communes and wards nationwide had completed the withdrawal of funds, ensuring progress according to the Government's direction.

As of September 1, the State Treasury (KBNN) said that it is making efforts to coordinate with local agencies and units to implement the Prime Minister 's direction on spending gifts for all people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

According to the quick report, by 11am on September 1, 3,120/3,321 communes and wards had completed withdrawing funds from the State Treasury, accounting for 93.95%. The disbursed amount was nearly VND 10,428.6 billion, equal to 96.99% of the assigned estimate. First of all, this result shows the great effort of the whole system in racing against time to get gifts to people on time for the holidays.

Meanwhile, in 18 provinces and cities such as Thua Thien Hue, Bac Ninh , Ca Mau, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa..., all communes and wards have completed the withdrawal of funds. Next, the remaining localities also achieved over 90% of the communes and wards completing the procedures, in parallel with urging the units that have not completed to keep up with the general progress.

However, the State Treasury noted that this figure only reflects the portion of funds that have been disbursed from the treasury. The People's Committees of communes and wards will base on the actual situation to make direct payments to the people, possibly after a period of time after the reporting date. Furthermore, inspection and supervision work is also being strengthened to ensure transparency and the right subjects.

In addition, all 34 provinces and cities are urgently implementing, thereby showing the synchronization from the central to local levels. At the same time, the spirit of coordination is clearly demonstrated when relevant units share the responsibility.

The State Treasury affirmed that it will continue to closely coordinate, speed up disbursement progress, and ensure adequate funding for localities to organize gift giving to citizens according to plan and in accordance with the Government 's direction.

In fact, many residential groups are making lists of household heads and actual residents who receive gifts in the form of direct payment.
