On the evening of November 1, the art program to celebrate the success of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (term 2024 - 2029), the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City (term 2024 - 2029) with the theme "The song of solidarity echoes forever" , took place at the City Theater (HCMC).

Music night praising the spirit of national unity

The art program "Forever the Song of Solidarity" is organized by the Organizing Committee for the celebration of major holidays in Ho Chi Minh City and performed by the City Light Music Center. Artist Thanh Thuy is the art director and Binh Hung is the director.

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee...

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung said that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City successfully organized the 12th Congress of Delegates, term 2024 - 2029 on October 2 and 3.

"In the spirit of Solidarity - Democracy - Compassion - Innovation - Development, the congress approved the summary report on the implementation of the resolution of the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City; at the same time, determined the direction, 3 goals, 4 projects, programs, key works, 5 main targets, 6 action programs in the term 2024 - 2029.

The City Fatherland Front continues to strongly promote its core political role in building the great national unity bloc, gathering and mobilizing people to participate in campaigns and patriotic emulation movements;

"Enhancing people's self-management spirit, promoting democracy, stepping up supervision and social criticism, participating in Party building, government building, and strengthening social consensus" - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung emphasized.

The music night "Forever the Song of Solidarity" includes three parts: Offering people thousands of flowers of victory, Song of great solidarity, Glory of our Fatherland Front with artists Ta Minh Tam, Huu Quoc, Que Tran, Van Khanh, Hanh Thuy, Ho Trung Dung, Dao Mac, Thuy Trinh, Cao Cong Nghia, Ho Tuan Phuc, Nhat Nguyet group, group 135, sand painting artist Tri Duc...

The program brings songs praising President Ho Chi Minh , the spirit of national solidarity through the songs: Melody of the Fatherland, Offering people thousands of flowers of victory, Great solidarity, Song of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Ho Chi Minh City, Melody of pride, One lap of Vietnam...

Promoting national love and solidarity in times of trouble

One of the creative models of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Ho Chi Minh City is building a "solidarity - affection - self-management" residential area, which has contributed to preserving and promoting fine cultural traditions in the locality.

This content is expressed through the folk song Spring City sung by Ngoc Dang and Mai Thanh Mai and the folk song Thousand Years of Lotus Still Blooming by artists Huu Quoc and Que Tran.

The audience also had a chance to review images of the whole country fighting the COVID-19 pandemic or the people in the North experiencing the recent storm No. 3 (Yagi). Once again, the national love and solidarity were expressed through the spirit of mutual love and support.
