Hyundai Grand i10 launched in Vietnam market, price from 360 million VND

On June 14, 2024, Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Automobile Joint Venture (HTV) officially introduced the New Grand i10 model to the Vietnamese market. The car has 6 different versions with a recommended retail price from 360 million VND (VAT included).

Stylish and unique exterior

Hyundai New Grand i10 has a bolder, more fashionable design style, inspired by the concept model. “Rhythmical Tension” with a combination of curves and sharp angles, creates visual appeal with the hood lowered by 20mm.

The New Grand i10 has the largest dimensions in the segment, with the Hatchback version measuring 3,815 x 1,680 x 1,520 (mm) in length x width x height, while the Sedan version is 180mm longer. The ground clearance of both versions is 157mm with a wheelbase of 2,450mm.

The new Grand i10 has a newly designed radiator grille that is more youthful and individual with a large size to increase the amount of cooling air to help the engine achieve maximum performance. The front and rear bumpers are also redesigned for a sporty look.

The unique fishbone-shaped DRL (Daytime Running Light) LED cluster creates a fashionable style for the car. The entire body is rounded with ribs that highlight the width of the car. The car is equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels that have also been redesigned to create a more modern and sturdy look.

The rear of the hatchback version is designed with a taillight cluster supplemented with slim LED lighting technology. The sedan version has a stylized LED cluster corresponding to the lighting cluster, providing a beautiful lighting effect, while increasing the safety of the vehicle when braking or operating at night. Other details show the sophistication in the design of the New Grand i10 such as chrome-plated door handles, turn signals integrated with rearview mirrors, LED high-mounted brake lights, etc., creating a modern European-style appearance.

Spacious and well-equipped interior

Hyundai New Grand i10 continues to be the most attractive model in the segment with Modern, spacious interior. The car's central 8-inch multi-function screen supports entertainment with Bluetooth/MP3/Radio multi-function connection, supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto connection.

In addition, the New Grand i10 continues to use the navigation map system researched and developed by Hyundai specifically for the Vietnamese market with many upgrades. In addition to the basic functions, this map system also integrates useful information such as Hyundai 3S service points nationwide, food and beverage services, entertainment, etc., creating convenience for customers.

The interior of the New Grand i10 is covered in dark leather, combined with red borders to create a youthful and modern style. The car's information screen is used in sync with other Hyundai models with an intuitive 3.5-inch size, with the function of displaying tire pressure information on each wheel. Other outstanding features can be seen such as the Start/Stop engine button, smartkey, 4-way adjustable steering wheel with integrated function keys, heated rearview mirrors, anti-jam electric windows, and the hatchback version's rear seats can be folded completely flat.

The redesigned seats provide better support for the user. Rear air-conditioning vents provide a comfortable, airy space for passengers.

All versions of the New Grand i10 are equipped with an optimized Kappa 1.2L MPi engine that provides 83 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and maximum torque of 114Nm at 4,000 rpm, minimizing CO2 emissions thanks to variable valve control technology (CVVT), ensuring power and maximum fuel economy.

The new Grand i10 is introduced with 2 transmission options: 4-speed automatic transmission ensures the perfect combination of powerful performance, fuel economy and durability with the most advanced technologies such as solenoid valves and flat torque converter. 5-speed manual transmission with refined gearshifts increases responsiveness and agility while helping to maximize fuel economy.

The New Grand i10 has an improved chassis system, especially the impressive NVH (Noise - Vibration - Harshness) handling ability, reducing noise and vibration by up to 3 dB by adding sound-absorbing compartments on the doors, increasing the stiffness of the panels and the car floor. The steering system has also been improved, helping to increase precision as well as better response, bringing an exciting feeling every time you drive.

New Grand i10 is distributed by Hyundai Thanh Cong with 6 versions and 5 different color options. The car is warranted for 5 years or 100,000km, whichever comes first.
