Account kirbysmartdawg shared, "It's obvious something is wrong. The iPhone 16 battery is draining too fast. At 9am, my device has 95% battery, but every 5 minutes it's dropping 1%. I'm really confused about this when I'm not using any tasks."
Meanwhile, account T1aaj commented "My iPhone 16 Pro dropped from 100% to 60% battery in just half a day, despite barely using the device. I should have kept my old iPhone 15 Pro".
It is worth noting that this error does not only appear on the iPhone 16 generation. Many users of older iPhones such as the iPhone 15 or iPhone 14 also encounter the same situation. According to MacRumors, the problem may originate from the iOS 18 operating system.
Some users have reported an improvement in battery drain after updating their iPhone 16 to iOS 18.0.1 or the iOS 18.1 beta, but these updates don't affect all devices.
To date, Apple has not made any official announcement regarding the above incident.
Recently, many iPhone 16 users have also reported that their devices are experiencing two extremely serious errors: Reset Counter (automatic restart) and Panic Full (memory error causing serious problems).
Accordingly, the iPhone 16 becomes sluggish and restarts itself for unknown reasons. In addition, many users also experience the situation of applications automatically closing while in use or being unable to activate applications on the iPhone.
Currently, these two serious errors are mainly recorded on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max duo. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus duo are not affected.
