On October 26, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office denied reports that the country had warned Iran through a third party not to retaliate against its airstrikes and informed Tehran of the targets Israel was aiming at.

“Israel did not inform Iran before the attack – not about the timing, not about the targets and not about the scale of the attack,” the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.

Previously, some media reported that Israel had sent a message to Iran about the attack through the Dutch Foreign Minister to avoid unnecessary escalation and warned Tehran not to respond.

In another development, the Iranian military said on October 26 that Israeli airstrikes on Tehran and several Iranian provinces early that morning only damaged some radar systems.

"Thanks to the timely effectiveness of the country's air defense system, the attacks caused limited damage and some radar systems were damaged," the Iranian military statement said.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia's Elaph website, citing several sources, said that Israeli airstrikes hit a missile factory containing heavy fuel mixers used to power Khaybar and Qassem missiles, the ballistic missiles that Tehran launched at Israel in the attack earlier this month.

According to the source, it will take Iran two years to repair the completely destroyed plant. However, the source did not specify the location of the plant.

Regarding the attack, also on October 26, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Mr. Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, condemned Israel's military action against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Describing Israel's actions as a violation of Iran's sovereignty and international laws and norms, the official affirmed that the GCC opposes military activities and calls on all parties to exercise maximum restraint to avoid leading to continued military conflicts in the region.

The GCC Secretary General also called on the international community to fulfill its responsibility in de-escalating the situation.

Earlier in the morning of the same day, Israel carried out an airstrike on several Iranian military facilities in retaliation for Tehran's attacks on Israel in April and October. Iran announced that the attack caused limited damage to some military facilities and killed two soldiers.
