Sharing about this topic, director Tran Huu Tan said this will be a project full of Vietnamese urban legends.

"We want to rekindle the familiar haunting, where young people, especially students, often hear about mysterious, strange and spiritual stories in this area of ​​the lake of death," he said.

Producer Hoang Quan expressed: "The Lake of Death is a true urban legend, both familiar and strange, that has always intrigued me. That is the driving force that motivated us to bring this story to the big screen. The film will be a mysterious journey exploring a person's deepest pains and fears."
