Annual party membership admission exceeds target

During the 2020-2025 term, the task of developing party members has achieved important results. Every year, the rate of new party members admitted to Binh Thuan province reaches 5% or more of the total number of party members, ranking 3rd out of 67 Party Committees directly under the Central Committee and higher than the Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee which set the target: "The annual rate of new party members reaches 3-4% of the total number of party members".

The Resolution of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025 sets the target: "Annual average development of 2,000 party members and over 75% of grassroots party organizations and grassroots-level party organizations are classified as having completed their tasks well or better". Therefore, immediately after the congress, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee quickly advised the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to issue Directive No. 07-CT/TU on strengthening leadership in the work of developing new party members. Accordingly, each Party committee and organization from the province to the grassroots seriously develops plans and determines specific targets for admitting new party members each year, close to the situation of the locality, agency, and unit. Every year, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee advises the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to issue documents assigning targets for admitting party members to Party Committees under the province. Every month and every quarter, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee urges and grasps the situation of party member admission through the information reporting system at the beginning and middle of the month, the Party Building Organization Department's meeting, and organizes online meetings with the organizing committees of districts, towns, city party committees, and party committees directly under the province...

Thanks to that, since the beginning of the term, the number of new party members has exceeded the target set by the Congress Resolution every year. Typically, in 2021, the whole province admitted 2,030 party members, reaching 101.5% of the target; in 2022, 2,071 party members were admitted, reaching 103.6% of the target. Notably, every year the rate of new party members admitted in Binh Thuan province reaches 5% or more of the total number of party members, ranking 3rd out of 67 Party Committees directly under the Central Committee and higher than Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee which set the target of "The annual rate of new party members reaches 3-4% of the total number of party members".

In addition, the work of evaluating and classifying the quality of Party organizations, Party members, and collectives and individuals of leaders and managers at all levels has been implemented seriously, closely, objectively, in accordance with the instructions of superiors and has become increasingly more substantial. In self-criticism and criticism, attention has been paid to suggesting in-depth reviews, from which Party members and Party organizations can self-reflect and self-examine more deeply on their limitations and weaknesses in a voluntary manner. The situation of "peace is precious" in criticizing, reviewing, evaluating and classifying cadres and Party members has been overcome; many leaders, although meeting the criteria and standards, do not consider themselves to have completed their tasks excellently but give priority to cadres and Party members who do not hold positions. Not only that, through in-depth reviews, many collectives and individuals who are leaders of Party committees and authorities have seen more clearly their shortcomings and voluntarily lowered their evaluation and classification levels. As a result, every year, over 87% of grassroots Party organizations and over 92% of upper-level Party Committees complete their tasks well or better, exceeding the target set by the Provincial Party Congress Resolution by 12%. On average, every year, the rate of excellent task completion for grassroots Party organizations is 13%, and for upper-level Party Committees is 14.2%.
