Investment connection for high-tech startups

On July 29, the High-Tech Business Incubator (under Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park) in collaboration with Silver Lion Enterprise Impact organized the program “The First Demo Day 2025 – Connecting domestic and foreign investors”. This is an activity within the chain of technology commercialization support, helping innovative startups access investment capital.

The event brought together 5 typical projects from the incubation program of the High-Tech Business Incubator. The startups operate in key areas such as biotechnology, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), electric vehicles (EV), etc. Here, the founding teams presented their business models, core technologies, product testing results and commercialization orientations to the board of investors, technology experts and representatives of domestic and foreign venture capital funds.

The special thing is that all projects have undergone incubation, in-depth consulting on technology, law and management at the Incubator. This shows that the projects have initially matured in technology as well as the ability to expand the market. The program also organizes in-depth connection spaces (business matching), supporting startups to directly contact investors and improve their competitiveness.

The event attracted the participation of many venture capital funds such as ITI Fund, Startup Law, DMZ Vietnam, Dragon Capital, VIISA... demonstrating the growing interest in the technology startup ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Ky Phung - Head of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park said: "The presence of typical investors and startups is proof of an innovative ecosystem that is forming. The High-Tech Park is not only a place to attract large technology corporations, but also a solid launching pad for Vietnamese high-tech enterprises."

According to Mr. Phung, for a technology seed to develop into a leading enterprise, there needs to be a combination of breakthrough ideas, talented teams, investment resources and a favorable environment. The High-Tech Park Management Board and the High-Tech Business Incubator are striving to become a strategic bridge between startups and investors, contributing to promoting the development of the digital economy and high-tech industry in Ho Chi Minh City.
