VHO - On the morning of August 15, at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, the opening ceremony of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) took place.

The series of events were jointly organized by the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace in coordination with the Dien Bien Provincial Relic Management Board; Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum; National Archives Center I, the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department (Ministry of National Defense) and related units on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025);

80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025); 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and 80th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh naming General Nguyen Chi Thanh (August 17, 1945 - August 17, 2025).

The series of commemorative activities includes 6 main contents: Exhibition: "Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh - Milestones of national history"; Special exhibition at the additional exhibition room "Journey for peace"; Exhibition "Continuing the story of peace"; Launching the book "President Ho Chi Minh with General Nguyen Chi Thanh"; Launching the book: "The Governor-General of Indochina in the past and the Presidential Palace today"; Launching the AR technology experience associated with the real world - connecting history and modernity through spatial computing technology.

The series of activities not only aims to commemorate and pay tribute to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and generations of fathers and brothers who fought for the cause of peacekeeping, but also to honor the noble values ​​of peace, independence, solidarity and friendship between nations - great ideas that made up the stature of the Vietnamese nation in the 20th century and continue to light the way in today's era.

Launching the first AR experience with real scenes at the Monument Site

The series of activities is also a collection of many significant first-time achievements. In particular, this is the first time with the help of the Department of Peacekeeping (Ministry of National Defense) and the Standing Office of the Ministry of Public Security on United Nations Peacekeeping, the Relic Site organized a thematic exhibition and display with the content "Journey for Peace" and "Continuing the story of peace".

This is also the first time the Relic Site has coordinated with the Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum to compile, publish and launch a book about President Ho Chi Minh and General Nguyen Chi Thanh.

For the first time, the Relic Site cooperated with the National Archives Center I to compile, publish and launch a special research book on the former Indochina Governor-General's Palace and the President's Palace today from a comparative perspective, analyzing the transformation from the old power space - the Indochina Governor-General's Palace into the workplace of President Ho Chi Minh.

During this time, Sun Group Corporation is deploying digital solutions for the Relic Site, in which it cooperates with Viettel High Tech to launch the first AR technology experience associated with real scenes at the Relic Site.

This is both a tribute to the heritage value and an affirmation of innovative thinking, creativity, and sense of responsibility in implementing Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation to improve the unit's operational efficiency.
