Opening of the first 'German Career Orientation Bus' Program in Tay Ninh

On the morning of September 11, Long An College held the opening ceremony of the first “German Career Orientation Bus” program in Tay Ninh province. This is an important event in a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Germany.

Attending the event were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Trung Kien; Deputy Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ho Chi Minh City Christopher David Scholl; representatives of businesses, teachers and 2,000 students in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Trung Kien praised and appreciated the support from the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. He emphasized that the "German Career Coach" program has a special meaning, helping the Tay Ninh Education and Training sector approach the German-standard dual vocational training model - a global model of vocational education.

This is also an opportunity for students in the province to learn about the German labor market, expand opportunities for study, employment and career development in the context of international integration. With that special meaning, Tay Ninh province will facilitate and accompany cooperation activities between the two governments, as well as effectively implement projects at Long An College.

Deputy Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ho Chi Minh City Christopher David Scholl expressed his joy when the program was deployed in Tay Ninh, affirming the motto "accompanying your dreams".

He said the project was made possible thanks to the support from the German Embassy, ​​the German Organization for International Cooperation GIZ, the Goethe Institute, the German Academic Exchange Service, the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Vietnam and many German enterprises, thereby hoping to contribute to supporting the young generation of Vietnam in career orientation and conquering their dreams.

At the program, students can also visit and experience open spaces with many integrated activities such as technology robots, green environment simulation booths, digital transformation, etc. Thereby helping them access new knowledge and broaden their vision of future careers.

Ho Bao Ngan, a student at Tran Van Giau High School for the Gifted, shared: "This is 50 years of cooperation between Vietnam and Germany, I feel very proud. This morning I got to experience robots and booths and found it very useful, providing a lot of social knowledge, helping us orient our future careers."
