14 people in Hue hospitalized after eating bread

On the afternoon of September 27, the Hue City Department of Health announced that it had just sent a working group to coordinate with the People's Committee of Phu Vang Commune and Phu Vang Medical Center to conduct an investigation and collect samples to handle a suspected case of mass food poisoning.

Previously, 14 people in Phu Vang commune, Hue city were poisoned after eating bread and had to be hospitalized at Phu Vang Medical Center for treatment. Among them, there was a pregnant woman who was transferred to Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital with a diagnosis of food poisoning.

Hue City Department of Health working group worked with relevant units after the incident of 14 people hospitalized after eating bread.

The leader of the Hue City Department of Health said that immediately after receiving the information, the unit sent a working group to coordinate with the People's Committee of Phu Vang Commune and Phu Vang Medical Center to investigate and collect samples to handle the case. Initially, the hospitalized people were identified as being related to the bread products of the CN facility (address Thanh Lam Bo village, Phu Vang commune, Hue City).

After treatment, the patients' health has stabilized. The authorities have requested the temporary suspension of the bakery to continue to verify and clarify the incident.
