With the theme "Hanoi Gifts", the Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2024 attracted 100 units to participate in the festival, with 80 booths including more than 20 food booths and many check-in spaces for visitors.
Many typical culinary products of Hanoi were introduced at the festival such as: Com, Thanh Tri rice rolls, Pho bread, Huong Mai rice rolls, Duong Lam peanut candy, sweet soup, Hanoi draft beer, spring rolls, lotus jam, banh cha...
Activities within the framework of the festival include spaces for introduction, exhibition and promotion during the festival such as: space for tourism gift products of enterprises producing and trading unique gift products; space for introducing products of enterprises providing tourism services, experiencing craft villages, exhibition of check-in beauty of Hanoi.
In addition, during the festival, there will be art performances of Cheo Tau singing, Ca Tru singing, Trong Quan singing, and "Passionate Hanoi" music performance. Besides, there will be street performances such as drum and gong performances by Muong ethnic people in Thach That district, along with street circus performances, hip hop, and flashmob dancing, which will bring visitors joyful and interesting experiences.
Coming to the festival, visitors can also participate in craft workshops such as making flute kites, silk reeling and silk painting performances, making bamboo dragonflies, clay figurines, coloring pictures, painting ceramic vases... along with culinary workshops such as coffee making instructions, bartenders and many other interesting activities.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Tran Trung Hieu stated that the organization of the Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival is an activity to stimulate tourism to Hanoi on the occasion of National Day September 2. At the same time, it supports craft villages to promote Vietnamese branded tourism gift products to domestic and international tourists.
Thereby promoting the development of the gift manufacturing industry, contributing to strengthening tourism and cultural connections. From there, increasing the experience of tourists in Hanoi, encouraging the recovery process of the Capital's Tourism.
