Currently, Lam Dong owns 4,203 tourist accommodation establishments with a total of 66,023 rooms, including 110 3-5 star hotels with 11,266 rooms, showing that the tourism infrastructure has developed quite completely.

At the conference held in mid-June 2025, chaired by Lam Dong province before the merger, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Trung Luong - former Deputy Director of the Institute for Tourism Development Research, said that after the merger, the new Lam Dong will have all types of unique tourism: Resort, ecology (Lam Dong), sea and island tourism (Binh Thuan), geological tourism, community culture (Dak Nong).

"The new province will be like a miniature Vietnam in terms of tourism. This is a great advantage that not every locality has," Mr. Luong commented.

With the merger of three provinces Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Dak Nong into the new Lam Dong, leading economic experts believe that this combination not only creates a solid foundation for economic development but also opens up many cooperation opportunities, especially in the tourism industry.
