Opening of Street Culture Month "Lam Dong - Converging the quintessence, Connecting emotions"

Street Culture Month with the theme "Lam Dong - Convergence of quintessence, Connection of emotions" opened in Phan Thiet ward, opening a series of cultural-culinary-artistic experiences that will last until October 5.

On the evening of September 6, the Street Culture Month with the theme "Lam Dong - Convergence of quintessence, Connection of emotions" took place in Phan Thiet ward. This is the main activity within the program "Month of experiencing tourist destinations in Lam Dong province in 2025" organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province.

On the first night, the Provincial Theater and Cultural and Art Exhibition grounds attracted hundreds of locals and tourists from inside and outside the province to visit and experience.

The most attractive place is the food stalls, where the culinary quintessence of three regions converges, regional specialties such as: Ha Long squid rolls, palm cake, My Tho noodles, fresh Phan Thiet seafood, especially stalls introducing Lao and Thai cuisine...

In addition, the space also recreates ancient cultural features through traditional craft village models such as farming, pottery making, figurines, etc., combined with areas for displaying and selling consumer products and handicrafts.

Throughout the festival, there is a vibrant street art program with vibrant dance performances, modern pop music performances and lion dance drums, bringing a rich musical experience to the audience. The audience not only watches, but also immerses themselves in the street festival atmosphere when invited to participate.

Tourist Phan Ngoc Minh from Ho Chi Minh City shared: “I accidentally learned about the event through social media and decided to attend. The atmosphere was very fun, the food was delicious, the space was clean and there were many activities for children.”

Local authorities have deployed plans to ensure security and order, traffic flow and environmental sanitation during the event.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, Street Culture Month will take place from September 6 to October 5, focusing on weekends in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Phu Thuy, Tien Thanh wards and Hoa Thang commune. The focus of the event is the activity "Lam Dong Delicious Food Space."

This activity will be held on weekends at the following locations: Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street (Mui Ne Ward), the Provincial Theater and Cultural and Art Exhibition grounds (Phan Thiet Ward), NovaWorld Phan Thiet area (Tien Thanh Ward) and Bau Trang tourist area (Hoa Thang Commune).

Here, people and tourists will have the opportunity to explore the culinary quintessence of Lam Dong and other regions in the country; at the same time, combining souvenir space, introducing rich local products imbued with regional identity.

Along with that is a series of unique street art and music programs with folk songs, traditional music and dance, folk games, etc. promising to bring a vibrant, close-knit atmosphere full of community connection.

Street Culture Month 2025 is not only a series of large-scale cultural and tourism events, but also an opportunity for Lam Dong to affirm its position as a dynamic and creative destination, contributing to the development of unique tourism products, stimulating the tourism market; at the same time, preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, enhancing the image of Lam Dong tourism to domestic and international tourists./.
