Located in the South Central Coast region, Khanh Hoa is a land with a system of Cham temples and towers built thousands of years ago that still exist relatively intact.

These places are not only important religious and spiritual destinations for the Cham people, but also attract many tourists from all over to explore and enjoy.

Located on Trau hill, Do Vinh ward, Po Klong Garai Tower is a complex of three towers including: Main tower, Fire tower, Gate tower built around the end of the 13th century, beginning of the 14th century to worship King Po Klong Garai (1151-1205), the king with many achievements in building the local irrigation system.

Over time, Po Klong Garai Tower still retains its delicate, sharp lines, with dark red bricks and bonded together by a special construction technique that has yet to be deciphered.

At Po Klong Garai tower, many important cultural, religious and belief activities of the Cham people following Brahmanism take place, especially the Kate festival which takes place in late September and early October of the solar calendar every year.

With its unique historical and architectural values, Po Klong Garai Tower was recognized as a special national architectural and artistic relic in 2016, and the statue of King Po Klong Garai was recognized as a national treasure in 2024.

According to scientists , this is a tower complex that still exists relatively intact and is considered the most beautiful among the Cham towers in Vietnam today.

Located on Cu Lao hill, beside the gentle Cai river, the special national architectural and artistic relic Po Nagar Tower is also a highlight not to be missed when traveling to Nha Trang.

The tower complex was built from the 8th to the 13th century to worship Goddess Po Nagar - the goddess considered the Mother of the Cham people, who had the merit of reclaiming land and teaching people how to do business.

Po Nagar Tower has a unique architectural art consisting of three main floors, the most prominent is the temple tower area on the top floor with four massive brick towers. The main tower is about 23m high, towering, inside is a statue of Goddess Po Nagar.

Through the process of cultural exchange and assimilation, Po Nagar Tower contains typical values ​​of both the Cham and Vietnamese peoples through the image of the goddess Po Nagar. This place has become a spiritual convergence point, where the Vietnamese and Cham communities pray for national peace and prosperity, favorable weather, a peaceful life, warmth and happiness./.
