The festival is held to promote and preserve the art of making and flying kites, and at the same time form an annual cultural - artistic - tourism event of international stature in Quang Nam.
The festival brings together kite teams from more than 12 countries and territories such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, India, Cambodia... The teams will perform unique kite art with about 100 different types of kites, along with a colorful kite display space.
The most impressive point of the festival is the LED kite flying program that sparkles under the night sky every night during the event. Visitors will admire the kites that shine like stars in the night sky.
In addition to the kite art performances, the festival also offers many other exciting activities such as: participating in kite making classes to create your own satisfactory kites; discovering unique local cuisine ; enjoying magic shows, fire dancing performances; and a music night with the participation of many famous artists on July 27.
The International Kite Festival – Quang Nam 2024 not only brings new experiences to tourists coming to Quang Nam, but also contributes to promoting the image, attracting domestic and foreign tourists to Quang Nam and tourist destinations in the Central region.
