Two tourists, Mr. KS (born in 1987) and Mr. TA (born in 1994, both Russian nationals), climbed Co Tien Mountain for the first time on the afternoon of September 3. Late at night, both lost their way, exhausted, and called acquaintances for help.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department mobilized 6 officers and soldiers, in coordination with the North Nha Trang Ward Police and a number of professional mountain climbers to organize the search. Due to the difficult terrain and darkness, it was not until about 1:30 a.m. on September 4 that the authorities were able to safely bring the two tourists down the mountain. Currently, both are in stable health.

Fairy Mountain is about 400m high, with three adjacent peaks, and is a familiar picnic spot for locals and tourists. However, this area has many steep, dangerous sections, which can be dangerous for inexperienced or careless climbers.
