Opportunity to promote culture and tourism

The opening ceremony of the series of cultural, sports and tourism events and activities taking place during the year to introduce and promote the potential and advantages of tourism development, cultural heritage values, resources and tourism products of the province is the Opening Ceremony of Tuyen Quang Tourism Year 2024, held on the evening of April 27. The program has many attractive activities such as: The 3rd Tuyen Quang International Hot Air Balloon Festival at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square.

International hot air balloon light festival combined with Disc Jockey (DJ) band performances. In Na Hang district, activities in response to Tuyen Quang Tourism Year have been specifically developed and implemented by the district and commune. From April 27 to May 1, the district will organize activities such as: Na Hang Shan Tuyet Tea Festival associated with a national culinary competition; Festival and summer camp associated with experiences and exploration of eco-tourism in the forest. Some localities in the district also organize many response activities such as: fishing competitions, exchanges of Then singing and Tinh lute clubs; organizing sports tournaments; traditional rice cake competitions...

Ready to welcome guests

In preparation for the Tuyen Quang Provincial Tourism Year 2024, tourist areas and destinations in the province have carefully prepared technical facilities, strengthened tour and route connections, renewed products and improved service quality, ready to welcome and serve tourists for sightseeing and experience.

Mr. Le Thanh Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the opening event of Tuyen Quang Tourism Year was held right on the occasion of the April 30 and May 1 holidays (a 5-day break), and it is expected that many tourists will visit and experience the tourist areas and spots in the province. The Department has coordinated with localities to direct tourist areas and spots to prepare well in all aspects to welcome tourists and improve service quality. At the same time, it will strengthen management and control of the quality of tourism service business, promptly handle violations.

The food festival is one of the activities responding to the Tourism Year of Lam Binh district.

The whole province currently has 445 accommodation establishments, 4,474 rooms, 6,326 beds, 35 hotels from 1 to 4 stars; over 250 restaurants, many of which have focused on building their own brands, renovating, upgrading and adding additional services, improving service quality, and serving more professionally; traditional local dishes have been exploited and introduced to tourists by some restaurants and have created a unique feature of Tuyen Quang. Up to now, the province has 191 products meeting OCOP standards to serve tourists.

Ms. Ma Thi Kim Thu, owner of Hoan Nuong tourist boat, Na Hang town (Na Hang) said: "This year, the holiday falls on the weekend, a long break, and coincides with the opening ceremony of Tuyen Quang Tourism Year. Currently, we are maintaining machinery and checking the conditions to ensure safety of waterway traffic. We are committed to ensuring the safety of tourists, helping tourists have the best experience when coming to Na Hang."

Ms. Bui Thi Tuyet, owner of Van Tue Mai Son Hotel, Tan Quang Ward (Tuyen Quang City) said that all the hotel rooms have been "renovated" with luxurious furniture to meet the highest demands of domestic and international tourists. All hotel services during the opening days of Tuyen Quang Tourism Year will not increase in price and ensure the best quality.

With a series of events and many attractive tourism activities, Tuyen Quang is ready to welcome tourists on the occasion of Tuyen Quang organizing events and activities in response to the opening of Tuyen Quang Tourism Year.
