Accordingly, the total number of candidates taking the high school graduation exam in Ho Chi Minh City is 85,453, an increase of more than 360 candidates compared to 2022 (of which high school has 72,886 candidates, continuing education has 9,194 candidates and 3,373 independent candidates).
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will organize 165 high school graduation exam sites, an increase of 7 sites compared to 2022. Each district, Thu Duc City will have from 1 to 3 backup exam sites and each exam site will have from 3 backup rooms to handle unusual cases.
The city plans to mobilize 14,075 cadres, teachers and staff to participate in the exam supervision. Of these, about 11,600 cadres and teachers will participate in the exam supervision work and 2,475 staff will serve at the exam sites. The total number of cadres and teachers participating in the official exam marking (making the exam, scoring, marking multiple-choice and essay tests...) is expected to be 1,710 people.
The total number of staff and teachers participating in the review is expected to be 1,000 people.
The printing of exam papers will take place from June 18 to June 29. Exam marking is scheduled from June 30 to July 15, and re-marking from July 29 to August 5.
Mr. Le Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the education sector coordinates with the Department of Health and proactively advises the City Steering Committee on the organization of high school graduation exams in ensuring hygiene and safety for exam sites. Organize training on exam procedures for all exam staff. Require all exam supervisors to have a firm grasp of exam regulations and organization procedures; ensure exam schedules, and ensure safe and serious exam supervision.

The Department of Education and Training reviewed and worked with the City Police to unify the process and personnel involved in preserving, printing, and transporting exam papers and test papers to ensure absolute safety, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations. Establish inspection and examination of exam preparation and organization at all stages to ensure safety, seriousness, objectivity, honesty, and to avoid errors, negativity, and violations of regulations. Prepare a good information technology infrastructure to avoid network congestion during information exchange, especially when announcing exam results.
At the same time, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training also said that relevant agencies, departments and localities will create favorable conditions for travel and accommodation for candidates at all high school graduation exam locations. Strengthen the mobilization of organizations and individuals to support candidates so that no candidate has to drop out of the exam due to economic or travel difficulties.
