Many shops have been expanded and opened onto the street in An Lo market area, affecting the aesthetics and traffic safety. |
In recent times, business and trading activities at An Lo market have been strictly managed by local authorities. However, in An Lo market area, especially at the intersection between National Highway 1A-Provincial Road 11A and Provincial Road 11A-11C, there is still a situation where vendors have expanded their space, covered it with corrugated iron roofs, tarpaulins, umbrellas... not only causing loss of aesthetics but also affecting the passage of people and vehicles, posing a risk to traffic safety.
Faced with this situation, the Ward Interdisciplinary Inspection Team conducted a survey and held a meeting to discuss each business establishment and shop owner who violated the market frontage and traffic routes in the An Lo market area. On that basis, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team agreed with the Phong Thai Ward People's Committee that in front of the business frontage calculated from the land use right certificate granted by the competent authority to households and shops, it is absolutely not allowed to have a roof extending beyond National Highway 1A and provincial roads in the area by more than 2.4m (only allowed to be made of corrugated iron, steel purlins and committed to returning the premises when the State requests to reclaim it). It is strictly forbidden to install, build, or cover objects on both sides that spoil the urban beauty.
Representatives of the ward's interdisciplinary inspection team asked business households in An Lo market to sign a commitment not to violate the expansion of the roof. |
In addition to the above activities, the Ward Interdisciplinary Inspection Team has handled and notified 2 households that sell fruit products in the wrong location.
On this occasion, the ward police force also surveyed the sidewalks on the roads, the section passing through An Lo market to mark and paint the pedestrian paths, and places to park motorbikes and scooters according to regulations to ensure traffic safety and create clear sidewalks for pedestrians to pass easily.
