Team No. 3, chaired by the leaders of the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Product Quality Management (Department of Agriculture and Environment), in coordination with the Food Safety Department (Department of Health ), the Market Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade) and sampling officers of the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Product Quality Management, conducted inspections at: Tuy Hoa Ward, Song Cau Ward and Phu Hoa 1 Commune.
Based on the province's plan, the People's Committees of communes and wards direct relevant departments and units to develop food safety inspection plans; organize inter-sectoral inspection teams on food safety in communes and wards and conduct inspections of food establishments under their management. Require inspection teams to ensure full composition; prepare all relevant documents, inspection forms; sampling tools, rapid inspection tools; promptly handle violations, contributing to good assurance work.
The plan aims to raise consumers' awareness in choosing quality, hygienic and safe food for their health during the Mid-Autumn Festival. At the same time, the authorities will assess the compliance with the law on food safety of food production, processing and trading establishments in the area, focusing on prioritizing products used frequently during the Mid-Autumn Festival to promptly detect, prevent and handle violations of food safety, contributing to the care and protection of people's health.
