This morning, December 7, 2023, the Standing Committee of the Inspection Committee of Binh Tan District Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City met to announce the decision to discipline party members.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Binh Tan District Party Committee's Inspection Committee announced the decision of the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee on disciplining Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Party Cell Secretary and Principal of Kim Dong Primary School. The decision was signed on December 1, 2023.

According to the Inspection Committee of Binh Tan District Party Committee, in her role and responsibility as Party Cell Secretary and Principal of Kim Dong Primary School, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung did not strictly and fully fulfill her exemplary responsibility, had shortcomings and violations in implementing Party regulations and State laws in the assigned areas, implementing grassroots democracy regulations, renovating, repairing and building the school's warehouse, and was disciplined with a reprimand; wrote untrue complaints and denunciations and made arbitrary comments and assessments of a few district leaders to places that did not have the authority to resolve them.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung violated Regulation No. 37-QD/TW dated October 25, 2021 of the Central Executive Committee on things that Party members are not allowed to do, in Article 3 "... Not fulfilling the responsibility to set an example...", Article 6: "... Sending or disseminating complaints and denunciations in any form to places without the authority to resolve" and Article 10: "... Not properly implementing regulations in investment management, construction, and use of houses and land...".

According to the Inspection Committee of Binh Tan District Party Committee, the above shortcomings and violations of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung are serious, causing bad public opinion among cadres and party members, reducing the prestige of herself, the Party Cell and Kim Dong Primary School, and affecting the prestige of the district leaders.

The Inspection Committee of Binh Tan District Party Committee decided to discipline Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung with a warning.

Previously, Thanh Nien Newspaper reported that on November 21, 2023, the People's Committee of Binh Tan District (HCMC) responded to teachers' feedback on a number of existing issues and lack of transparency of the Principal of Kim Dong Primary School when organizing and implementing the work of evaluating and classifying professional standards for general teachers at the end of the 2021-2022 school year.

On September 11, 2023, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Tan District signed Decision No. 6573 on disciplining the Principal of Kim Dong Primary School for financial and management violations, including not reducing teaching hours for teachers. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Tan District decided to discipline Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung with a reprimand.
