Disciplining a teacher for "physical impact" that left a student with a bruised back in Thanh Hoa

(Dan Tri) - The People's Committee of Bim Son town, Thanh Hoa province has decided to discipline Ms. VTT, who beat many students at Ba Dinh Primary School, with a warning.

On the morning of December 31, Ms. Vo Dao Hoa, Principal of Ba Dinh Primary School, Bim Son town, Thanh Hoa province, said that the People's Committee of Bim Son town had decided to discipline teacher VTT (who beat many students of class 1B) with a warning.

"Ms. T. was assigned to do clerical and office work at the school, unrelated to teaching," said Ms. Hoa.

Previously, as Dan Tri reported, on October 10, during math class, Ms. T. discovered TPN (class 1B) using a toy. Unable to control her emotions, Ms. T. used her hands to twist N.'s ear and pat her back and head, causing injury.

After the incident, the school reported to the Department of Education and Training of Bim Son town.

On the afternoon of October 15, Bim Son Town Police had a working session with the school's board of directors.

Extracting surveillance cameras at the school discovered that Ms. T. not only beat student N., but also committed violent acts against many students in class 1B.

Specifically, in a 10-minute math lesson (afternoon of October 10), Ms. T. used her hand to hit the head, twist the ears, and hit the back of 3 students. Among them, student N. was the one who was hit the most.

According to school leaders, this is not the first time Ms. T. has "physically impacted" a student. In the 2023-2024 school year, this teacher used a ruler to hit a student, causing a bruise on his arm.
