People's Artist Xuan Bac is a familiar face of the Northern stage. He graduated from the Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema. The male artist started his acting career in 1995 and participated in many films such as: Dong Loc Crossroads, Moc's Story, Rustling Countryside... Among them, the role of Nui in the film Song O Day Song helped his name be recognized by the public and experts.

The male artist also participated in many TV shows such as: Year-end Meeting, Laughter Gala, Weekend Relaxation, Dad, Where Are We Going?... He was also invited by many units to be a judge for the shows: SV 2016, SV 2000, Familiar Faces Kids...

Xuan Bac’s mark in the hearts of television audiences is not only the role of Mountain of Waves on the Riverbed but also the character Nam Tao in VTV’s Tao Quan. This role helped bring Xuan Bac's name closer to the general audience. Xuan Bac was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in 2016. He was awarded the title of People's Artist in 2023.

He was awarded the Outstanding Young Face of the Capital in 2009. In November 2010, Xuan Bac was chosen as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for clean water and environmental sanitation.

Since August 1, 2018, Xuan Bac has been a member of the Central Council of the 8th term of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union according to Decision No. 287 - QD/TWĐTN-CTTN of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union . In December 2019, Xuan Bac was elected Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union, 8th term. In August 2024, People's Artist Nguyen Xuan Bac was elected Honorary President of the Hanoi Young Artists Association.
