U.23 Vietnam is creating trust with fans to aim to conquer the SEA Games 33 gold medal in Thailand at the end of this year.

Under coach Kim Sang-sik, the U.23 Vietnam team has built a solid framework. The small difference between reserve and official players helps coach Kim Sang-sik have many options. At the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 tournament, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team won the championship with 4 wins. In the 2026 Asian U.23 qualifying round, the team won 3 consecutive matches, officially winning a ticket to the final round.

The good thing about U.23 Vietnam is that they play very solidly, with clear tactical plans to take advantage of the opponent's weaknesses and score the decisive goal. Coach Kim Sang-sik does not assign the task of scoring to any player, but all positions on the field, including defenders, proactively move up to score. That is why in each tournament, in each match U.23 Vietnam has a different name to score.

As the 2025 - 2026 V-League goes through 4 rounds, the U.23 Vietnam players continue to build trust with fans. The players that coach Kim Sang-sik trusts shine through each round and are the pillars of the clubs. In round 4, coach Kim Sang-sik was very happy to see Phi Hoang, Duc Anh ( Da Nang Club), Hieu Minh, Xuan Bac, Thanh Nhan (PVF-CAND), Anh Quan (Ninh Binh Club), Ngoc My (Thanh Hoa), Khuat Van Khang (The Cong Viettel) ... play very well and contribute to bringing good results for their clubs.

These players will continue to train in the V-League arena until November 10 before they gather to conquer the gold medal in men's football at the 33rd SEA Games.

However, U.23 Vietnam needs to increase the strength of the attack to have enough firepower to penetrate the opponents' goal. In particular, the upcoming SEA Games will be held in Thailand, so the host country's U.23 team will be very formidable. Besides, U.23 Malaysia and U.23 Indonesia have many naturalized players, so they are also very formidable. Therefore, when increasing the strength of the attack, U.23 Vietnam will be confident to achieve the set goal, bringing joy to the fans.
