Lam Dong launched a fundraising campaign to support the Cuban people.

On the morning of September 8, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province organized a fundraising ceremony to support the Cuban people.

Comrade Pham Trieu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, delivered a speech launching the fundraising campaign to support the Cuban people.

Implementing the direction of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on implementing the Program to mobilize support for the Cuban people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province was assigned to preside over and coordinate with agencies and units to mobilize support for the Cuban people throughout the province.

Accordingly, the movement to support the Cuban people is being deployed throughout the province. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee calls on member organizations, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the Front system at all levels to actively respond and contribute according to their capabilities to join hands in spreading the spirit of mutual love and solidarity to the Cuban people.

Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee participated in contributing to support the Cuban people.

This is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the tradition of humanity, solidarity and international mutual assistance of the Vietnamese people in general and Lam Dong province in particular towards the brotherly country of Cuba.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Pham Trieu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee affirmed: Over the past 65 years, the Vietnam - Cuba relationship has become an exemplary symbol of special solidarity, loyalty and steadfastness. In the current context, when Cuba is facing many socio-economic difficulties due to the impact of geopolitical conditions, natural disasters and epidemics, the sharing and support from Vietnam is even more meaningful, adding motivation for the Cuban people to firmly overcome challenges.

Officials and civil servants of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province participated in contributing to support the Cuban people.

He emphasized: "Supporting the Cuban people to overcome difficulties is not only a practical action, contributing to sharing difficulties with international friends, but also continuing the spirit of solidarity and loyalty between the two peoples that President Ho Chi Minh worked hard to cultivate."
