"Get Rich with Ghosts 2" releases new theatrical version

After more than a week in theaters, the producer of the movie Getting Rich with Ghosts: Diamond War decided to introduce a new version to the audience from September 5, at theaters.

According to the crew representative, the new film version is 125 minutes long (8 minutes less than the first version which was 133 minutes long). Therefore, the film is faster, more dramatic, more humorous, but still ensures the "backbone" elements.

Sharing about this decision, director Trung Lun said that at first he was a bit concerned about the change in the duration of the film that had been released in theaters. However, according to him, the audience's comments were reasonable and he himself tried to edit the new film to be more dramatic, but not reduce the viewing experience. "Old and new audiences will easily enjoy the story positively," director Trung Lun shared.

The new version of Getting Rich with Ghosts 2 still retains the same storyline, but has shortened some overly long segments in the content. Still keeping the bright spots and advantages from the first version, the new version helps the comedy scenes to be more logical and seamless, emphasizing the journey when having to hide the body on the way, the characters constantly facing awkward situations.

Laughter erupted at the group’s clumsiness and confusion, but then died down as the audience realized that greed and selfishness were gradually turning ordinary people blind. The chases, fights, and even melees were all meticulously choreographed, creating a sense of tension.

However, instead of losing the comedy, these scenes add drama, making the laughter more surprising. The audience will be worried for the characters, but also can't help but laugh when they constantly fall into a "dilemma".

Getting Rich with Ghosts: Diamond War revolves around 5 people: father and son Mr. Nhay (Hoai Linh) - Gon (Tuan Tran), couple Dang (La Thanh) - Tien (Diep Bao Ngoc) and Giang (Vo Tan Phat).

A group of people discovered the body of actress Anh Thu (Ngoc Xuan) floating from the river, washed ashore, so they became greedy and wanted to take possession of a diamond ring worth 9 billion VND. At this time, in Mr. Nhay's camera, Anh Thu's spirit suddenly appeared, asking 5 people to take her body back to her hometown and promised to pay with the ring.

That journey drags 5 people into a vortex of money with many schemes and tricks before everyone realizes its true value.
