In recent years, patriotic emulation movements with the spirit of solidarity, creativity, innovation, especially the emulation movement "Good Labor, Creative Labor" among workers and laborers have become an important driving force, contributing to improving productivity, product quality and production and business efficiency of enterprises. At the 2025 Creative Labor Festival organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) on August 15, 2025 with the theme "Creative journey - aspiration to rise", the Tay Ninh Provincial Confederation of Labor chose to display models and products introducing typical initiatives of the province, including the initiative of the E68 semi-circular ceiling panel production board gluing machine by author Pham Thanh Nhan, Sang Viet Production - Trading Joint Stock Company (My Yen commune). This is an initiative of high practical value, contributing to improving production efficiency, bringing great benefits to enterprises in recent years.

The E68 semi-circular mica ceiling panel product is the main product of Sang Viet Production - Trading Joint Stock Company. However, before 2021, the production process encountered many difficulties: the board gluing process took a lot of time, the output was low, it was difficult to recruit staff, and the costs increased. Therefore, the company's Board of Directors required technical innovation and shortening the process to meet order progress and increase customer satisfaction.

Based on that reality, Mr. Nhan has researched and successfully designed a semi-automatic board gluing machine. Compared to the previous manual method, this solution automates most of the steps such as gluing, gluing and fixing the board, helping to reduce production time by half. If before, it took 4.2 minutes to complete a product, after applying Mr. Nhan's initiative, it only takes 2.05 minutes.

Mr. Nhan shared: “Not only does it shorten the time, the initiative also helps save labor costs of more than 412.5 million VND/year, creating conditions for reasonable labor arrangement for other stages. From March 2021 to now, the initiative has brought clear results, benefiting the business by nearly 2 billion VND.”

Promoting workers' and laborers' initiatives

Or Ms. Phan Thanh Thuy - garment employee of Infinity Hong Hoa Apparel Manufacturing Limited Import-Export Trading Co., Ltd. (Phuoc Vinh Tay commune), had an initiative to use a hand-held pat-turning tool to shorten the operation to 20 seconds, benefiting the company 180 million VND/year.

Thanks to innovative initiatives, workers and laborers work more productively and limit occupational accidents in businesses.

At JS Vina One Member Co., Ltd. (Thu Thua Commune), Mr. Pham The Hien - Head of the Painting Department, also has many initiatives from practical work. In particular, he is creative in improving the paint spraying machine from mechanical to automatic, helping to increase productivity 3 times compared to before, saving 240 million VND/year, at the same time reducing operating labor and limiting occupational accidents occurring at the enterprise.

It can be seen that workers have been affirming their important role in the development of enterprises through initiatives and technical improvements formed right in the labor and production process. Every creative idea, whether small or large, contributes to saving costs, increasing productivity, improving the working environment; spreading the sense of responsibility and enthusiasm among workers. This is the foundation for emulation movements among workers to develop more and more sustainably./.
