Spread love to the community

Through silent but meaningful actions, many organizations and individuals in the province have been spreading love in their own way, not only sharing material things but also sowing trust, building hope, and contributing to community unity.

Established in February 2017, the Buon Ma Thuot Hmong Student Club currently has more than 60 members who are Hmong students studying in the province. Every year, the Club organizes many volunteer activities for children and people in remote areas. The luggage of each trip is not only school bags, bicycles or small gifts but also affection, responsibility and sincere encouragement for those who have many difficulties.

Ms. Giang Thi Gau, Club President, shared: “Most of the members of the Club were born in the highlands, have experienced hardship, so they understand better than anyone the necessity of knowledge for the future. The fact that you return to help your fellow countrymen not only brings material support but also gives the children in the village more motivation to continue going to school.”

Receiving gifts from the Club members, the children in the village could not hide their joy. Some children hugged their new school bags tightly like treasures, while others chattered and showed off their comic books to each other. Giang Thi Tuyet Mai (8 years old, Ea Trang commune, M'Drắk district) expressed: "I am very happy to receive the new school bag and will try to study well to become a doctor in the future." In the eyes of that child, the Club members saw a glimpse of themselves in the past - children growing up in the mountains and forests, cherishing the dream of learning to read and write. And from that, they understood that sometimes spreading love does not lie in anything grand but just quietly sowing seeds of belief.

In Ea Sar commune (Ea Kar district), since the end of 2022, the "Green House" model implemented by the Commune Women's Union has become a meeting place for love. Members regularly collect cans, plastic bottles, scrap paper, etc., bring them to collection points and sell them to raise funds, thereby implementing practical support activities for difficult circumstances such as giving Tet gifts, providing necessities, supporting livelihoods for single women, helping orphans and those in need of urgent help. This model not only contributes to supporting disadvantaged lives but also fosters neighborly love, spreading the spirit of sharing in the community.

Initially, the “Green House” model was only deployed in a few locations in the commune, but when seeing the meaningful work, the money collected was transparent and given to the right address in need, many local households actively participated, creating a vibrant movement. Currently, there are 6 “Green Houses” operating effectively in villages and hamlets and have become familiar meeting places of responsibility and kindness.

Representatives of the Women's Union of Ea Sar commune (Ea Kar district) presented support money to the family of Ms. Le Thi Hanh (right cover).

From the “Green House” fund, every month, Ms. Le Thi Hanh (64 years old, village 8, Ea Sar commune) regularly receives 300,000 VND to take care of her two orphaned grandchildren. That support makes her extremely touched, warms her heart and gives her more motivation to overcome difficulties with her grandchildren. “All the sisters in the association are very understanding and sympathetic to my family’s situation. Thanks to that concern, I have more determination to try every day, to live more positively. I just hope that I have enough health, perseverance and patience to raise my grandchildren to be good people,” Ms. Hanh confided.
