On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024), on the morning of December 20, 2024, in Hanoi, a delegation of the Party Central Committee, the State, the National Assembly, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Central Military Commission - the Ministry of National Defense came to lay wreaths and visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.
