VFF leaders encourage U23 Vietnam's spirit before the Southeast Asian final

VHO - The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said that on the afternoon of July 29 in Jakarta (Indonesia), VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan visited and encouraged the spirit of the Vietnam U23 team before the final match of the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship with the host team U23 Indonesia.

According to VFF, at the meeting, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan praised the impressive performance of coach Kim Sang-sik and his team, with 2 wins in the group stage, passing the semi-finals to qualify for the final match.

VFF leaders believe U23 Vietnam will get good results in tonight's final match

Chairman Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized that the results achieved showed the progress of the whole team, and hoped that this would also help the players gain more confidence and courage.

President Tran Quoc Tuan also recalled the beautiful memories of the beginning of the year when the National Team won the ASEAN Cup championship after a challenging final match in Thailand, and expressed his belief that U23 Vietnam will follow in the footsteps of their seniors and continue to make a historic mark in the regional arena.

“The final is a game for brave people. Let’s encourage and motivate each other to do our best, play with confidence, stay calm in every situation and make an effort from the first minute to the last. Make an effort but don’t let yourself be pressured,” Chairman Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized.

The whole team has completed preparations and is ready for the final match.

VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan asked the entire team to maximize their solidarity and strictly follow the tactics of the coaching staff to give fans a quality match, aiming for victory and creating another brilliant milestone in the journey of U23 Vietnam in the U23 Southeast Asian arena.

The final match between U23 Vietnam and U23 Indonesia will take place at 8:00 p.m. tonight, July 29, at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta.

This is the third consecutive time that U23 Vietnam has participated in the final match of the tournament, after being crowned champions twice in 2022 and 2023.
