100-day memorial service for Meritorious Artist Vu Linh

On the morning of June 12, Hong Loan, daughter of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh, and family members held a ceremony to commemorate his 100th day at his private home in Doan Thi Diem (Phu Nhuan, Ho Chi Minh City).

The ceremony took place at around 8am the same day. Artist Hong Nhung, the late artist’s younger sister and Hong Phuong were not present at the ceremony at home.

After the ceremony ended, relatives moved to the grave of artist Vu Linh at Binh Duong Flower Garden Cemetery to hold a memorial service.

Hong Loan and relatives held a 100-day memorial service for the late artist Vu Linh.

Talking to Tri Thuc Truc Tuyen , Ms. Ny, a relative of Hong Loan, said that since the day Hong Nhung and Hong Phuong moved out of the house, the two sides have not contacted each other. The organization of the 100-day memorial service for artist Vu Linh was all taken care of and prepared by Hong Loan and her relatives in the past few days.

According to Ms. Ny, the artist’s daughter has been tired and sad for many days. Hong Loan’s health and spirit have been affected since the day artist Vu Linh passed away.

Regarding the property dispute lawsuit, Ms. Ny said that Hong Loan authorized a lawyer to handle it.

Previously, on June 7, the People's Court of Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City accepted the inheritance dispute case regarding the property of Mr. Vo Van Ngoan (aka the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh). The plaintiff is Ms. Vo Thi Hong Nhung (60 years old, Vu Linh's younger sister), and the defendant is Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan (37 years old, Vu Linh's daughter). Other interested parties include Ms. Le Thi Hong Phuong (Vu Linh's niece) and Mr. Vo Thanh Nhieu (Vu Linh's younger brother).

After Meritorious Artist Vu Linh passed away, the late artist’s family became discordant. Hong Loan said that she was unaware of and was not involved in many issues related to the funeral media contract and tomb building.

Vu Luan - the late artist's adopted son - was upset when the rumor "Vu Luan did business on his adoptive father's funeral - Meritorious Artist Vu Linh" by hiring a livestream team, affecting his image.
