Naval Region 5 Command completes live-fire test at sea

Previously, on September 26, the ship squadrons of Brigade 127 and Brigade 175 (Naval Region 5 Command) conducted live-fire tests of exercises 5a and 5b, combat shooting for a squadron, using guns and artillery in service to destroy targets in the air and at sea during the day and at night.

During the live-fire test, the ships and each officer and soldier had a firm grasp of the safety rules, features, techniques and tactics of each type of weapon and ammunition, and the process of performing each shooting exercise; were calm, confident, and completed the content of the shooting exercises well, ensuring absolute safety.

The live-fire session aims to improve the command and organization level, combat coordination ability of agencies and units, and the key movements of troops in live-fire; test the level of exploitation, ship control and use of guns and cannons to attack enemy aircraft in daytime conditions and enemy ships in daytime and nighttime conditions.

At the same time, the live-fire exercise also aims to test and evaluate the combat training results of the ships, on that basis, draw experience and supplement the unit's combat plan and training plan in the coming time.

100% shooting results are good and excellent, the unit is absolutely safe.
