Thanh Tuyen Festival 2025: Spreading cultural colors, attracting tourists

In nearly a month, Tuyen Quang province will organize Thanh Tuyen Festival 2025 with many rich and attractive activities.

Preparations are being urgently deployed to bring to the people of the whole country and international tourists impressive experiences and unique tourism products associated with the historical and cultural values of the revolutionary homeland - "Capital of the Liberated Zone," "Capital of Resistance."

In recent years, Thanh Tuyen Festival has become a cultural event, a unique and characteristic tourism product of Tuyen Quang with giant Mid-Autumn lantern models that are meticulously crafted, combined with modern technology to become more flexible and lively, creating excitement for children and tourists.

For more than 2 months now, the Mid-Autumn Festival lantern model production workshop of Mr. Pham Van Sang (residential group 2, Minh Xuan ward) has been busy completing giant lantern models to serve the festival.

Mr. Sang said that while it used to take an average of 5-7 days to complete a model, this year due to higher requirements for aesthetics, technique and liveliness, the time to complete it has been extended to nearly a month. The worker must be knowledgeable in fine arts, mechanics, electricity, painting and color matching, and production costs have also increased.

With the desire to promote the natural landscapes and beauty of Tuyen Quang homeland through Thanh Tuyen Festival, the people of residential group 3, Minh Xuan ward chose the "Phoenix Cruise" model to participate in the festival, to promote Na Hang-Lam Binh Eco-tourism Area.

Currently, the model has entered the final stages of completion to be ready to participate in the Festival.

Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc, Head of Residential Group 3, said that making the model not only creates beautiful memories for children but also contributes to promoting urban beautification, environmental sanitation, and building a beautiful image of Tuyen Quang and Thanh Tuyen Festival in the hearts of tourists.

Since the beginning of August, the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere in the central wards of the province has become more bustling with model parades on weekends, attracting a large number of people and tourists.

To ensure security, order and traffic safety during the Festival, relevant localities and units of Tuyen Quang province are required to strengthen coordination, promote propaganda and mobilize people to strictly comply with the Road Traffic Law.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Hong Quang, Deputy Chief of Minh Xuan Ward Police, said that due to the increase in the number of visitors, the issue of ensuring security, order and traffic safety is given top priority. The ward police focused on patrolling and controlling the roads, increasing the force to regulate, direct traffic and guide safe traffic.

In particular, the authorities propagate to people to comply with the regulations "Do not drive after drinking alcohol," do not speed, do not overtake recklessly, and do not gather to race illegally.

Vehicles carrying Mid-Autumn lantern models must move at the correct speed, ensure technical standards and be fully equipped with fire prevention and fighting equipment.

People and tourists participating in the festival are advised not to bring large amounts of cash or valuables, and to be vigilant against theft and robbery.

The Thanh Tuyen Festival 2025 is scheduled to take place from October 3-5 at the provincial administrative center and several localities with many attractive cultural and tourism activities. These include the Opening Ceremony and Thanh Tuyen Festival Night; Tuyen Quang Province Trade and Tourism Fair; "Displaying and introducing the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine " and Hanoi Beer Festival 2025; The 4th Open Off-Road Car and Motorcycle Driving Show.

This is an opportunity for Tuyen Quang to promote the image of its land and people, introduce its potential, strengths, and unique tourism products, attract tourists and investors, and contribute to promoting socio-economic development and improving people's lives./.
