On the morning of June 21, Nguyen Thi Dieu High School, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City held a gratitude and maturity ceremony for more than 540 grade 12 students of the 2022-2025 school year.

At the ceremony, students from each class took turns expressing gratitude to their parents and teachers.

Dear parents,

We understand that behind every success and smile of ours are months of hard work of our parents. From simple meals to every reminder, our parents always encourage and take care of us. Although we cannot express it all in words, we always remember those silent sacrifices.

Dear teachers,

Teachers are not only silent ferrymen but also second fathers and mothers, imparting and teaching us how to live, how to be human, accompanying us on the journey of conquering knowledge. That beautiful mark will never fade in our memories.

We will always remember this place, our beloved Nguyen Thi Dieu school. It was here that we grew up" - Van Hong Phuc, a student of class 12T4, expressed.

Not only expressing their feelings with words, students of Nguyen Thi Dieu High School also confidently went on stage together to sing the songs "Dear Mom", "Mother's Dream", "A Date with Youth", "Teacher, We Say Goodbye"...

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Van Thu, principal of Nguyen Thi Dieu High School, emphasized:

"Today, in this solemn and emotional atmosphere, 541 12th grade students of the 2022-2025 school year have officially concluded their 12-year journey of studying, to prepare for the high school graduation exam. This is a special milestone - not only marking the end of a learning journey but also the starting point for a new journey: the journey of adulthood.

I believe that every student sitting here has grown up and become more mature in perception and action.

You have gone through a 12-year journey of studying. In that journey, there were 3 years of attachment to the beloved Nguyen Thi Dieu High School. The time of farewell is coming, farewell to close a journey, also opening a new journey of self-establishment and career. Because parents cannot do it for you forever - you must be the ones to continue writing your own life journey.

Being mature is not only about being independent but also about being responsible for yourself, your family and society. I hope you will be filial children, know how to love properly, live kindly and courageously pursue your dreams."

Singer Dam Vinh Hung sang and interacted with students.

After a few quiet moments, the students of Nguyen Thi Dieu High School were filled with excitement when singer Dam Vinh Hung suddenly appeared. He sang many songs about school, teachers, family... at the request of the students. Not only did he "rock" with the young audience, singer Dam Vinh Hung also gave advice to the students that they need to make an effort to pursue their education after graduating from high school.

According to Mr. Duong Van Thu, principal of Nguyen Thi Dieu High School, the singer Dam Vinh Hung's presence at the ceremony was thanks to the connection of a university in Ho Chi Minh City. Notably, the singer did not receive any remuneration for this performance despite having to wake up early.
