LG has donated and participated in planting 600 green Lim trees, a tree endemic to Thanh Hoa province, for Ben En National Park to green the degraded hills. This tree is classified in the group of rare "four ironwoods" (dinh, lim, sen, tau) and is classified as a rare and endangered plant species, with limited exploitation and use.

Besides contributing to creating a carbon sink to respond to climate change, this meaningful activity also contributes to reducing natural disaster damage, protecting water security, protecting biodiversity and especially the rare Green Lim species.

In its first year in Vietnam, LG Ambassador Challenge 2025 seeks initiatives focusing on three core areas according to the United Nations' sustainable development goals: Poverty eradication, quality education and climate action.

In addition, the project also donated 100 beekeeping houses to create sustainable livelihoods for local people. Within the framework of the project, the Ban Tho Cooperative will organize training sessions on agroforestry and beekeeping techniques, ensuring autonomy and the ability to replicate the project model for the people. In addition to the economic value, placing beehives under the canopy of primary forests also helps maintain ecological balance and support the development of forests, grasslands, and other natural ecosystems.

Mr. Song Ikhwan, General Director of Sales and Marketing, LG Electronics Vietnam shared: “On the journey to become a provider of technology solutions for smart living, LG actively implements initiatives towards sustainable development goals, with the vision of bringing a better life every day to everyone. This year, LG is implementing the LG Ambassador Challenge 2025 in Vietnam for the first time, which is also a meaningful activity on the occasion of LG's 30th anniversary in the Vietnamese market.”
