Provincial Labor Federation: Giving gifts to poor households and students overcoming difficulties in Dong Phuc commune

The Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) in collaboration with Thai Nguyen Galvanized Steel Column Joint Stock Company and Morinaga Nutritional Foods Vietnam Joint Stock Company recently organized a gift-giving program for disadvantaged households and poor students overcoming difficulties in Dong Phuc commune.

Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor, representatives of sponsoring units and local authorities presented gifts to students.

Attending the program were Ms. Do Thi Hien, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, President of Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Hoang Van Nam, Deputy Director of Thai Nguyen Galvanized Steel Column Joint Stock Company and representatives of sponsoring units.

At the program, the leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation and accompanying businesses presented 5 million VND/household to 5 households whose temporary and dilapidated houses were removed; 50 students with difficult circumstances who have made great efforts in their studies, each received 500,000 VND; 60 portions of milk and 200 portions of candy to students of Quang Khe Primary School.

The activity contributes to spreading the humane message "Joining hands for the community", demonstrating the concern of trade unions and businesses in caring for people's lives, and supporting disadvantaged students to excel in their studies.
