On the evening of August 26, the live show marking 30 years of singing career of Meritorious Artist Dang Duong took place at the Vietnam - Soviet Union Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi .
Despite the heavy rain before the show, the show still recorded a large number of attendees. In addition to the middle-aged and elderly audience, the music night also had the appearance of many young people.
This is also what Dang Duong aspired to when performing the live show The Fatherland Calls His Name . He wanted to spread the love of revolutionary music to the younger generations of artists and audiences. Therefore, the music night brought a fresh, youthful but still luxurious atmosphere.

The program is tightly structured in 3 chapters: The Fatherland Calls My Name, The Country, The Road We Take. In 3 hours, the male singer brought many revolutionary songs but renewed, combined with guests: Dao To Loan, OPlus, Vo Ha Tram.
The male singer joked that he felt like... 5 years younger when collaborating with "junior" artists.
Dang Duong harmonized with Dao To Loan in the song The soldier's shirt that mother patched in the past - Winter shirt , recalling a long period of resistance. The singer collaborated with the OPlus group in Comradeship - The guitar of the third company, Day and night march - Uncle is marching with us...
Besides, he also sang a duet with Vo Ha Tram in Love song - My love . Dang Duong said, Vo Ha Tram's voice is the one he loves and admires the most.
Guests in Dang Duong's live show also had their own performances.
Dao To Loan handled the song with great sophistication when singing Mother loves her child. Vo Ha Tram changed her voice from sweet to tragic in Moonlight of Two Regions . Especially, OPlus brought a new breath when performing the song Five Brothers on a Tank .

In addition to the collaborations with guest artists, Dang Duong also performs songs that show off his high, strong but also very emotional voice, now with changes to suit the new era and young audiences.
Singing his forte songs, the singer still tries his best. He has been practicing all this time. The night before the live show, he still practiced until 2am.
One of the highlights of the show was the appearance of the monochord with the surprising unique performance of Dang Duong's Ben Tre Standing .
People's Artist Thanh Tam - lecturer of the monochord at the Vietnam Conservatory of Music and Dang Duong's teacher - said that Dang Duong had diligently studied the monochord for more than 10 years before switching to vocal music. His level was at the soloist level, not just average.

The sound of the monochord not only makes Dang Duong's live show more unique, but also shows the combination of tradition and modernity, affirming his faithful love throughout his 30-year career for revolutionary music that originated from the sound of the Vietnamese monochord. As the male singer said, it is a love that "goes into the blood and heart".
After each performance, Dang Duong said: "Thank you for the great arrangement by musician Duong Cam." He said that during the entire practice time, he was extremely happy because he was immersed in the melodies performed by Music Director Duong Cam.
The audience also kept admiring the new color remixes but still kept the unique soul that Dang Duong and the guest artists performed.
Throughout the show, audiences of all ages sang along enthusiastically. Each performance ended with thunderous applause.
Dang Duong received great support from fans, crew and relatives, including his wife's parents who are over 80 years old, who traveled from Yen Bai to support him. That great affection made the male singer choke up with tears, affirming: "The spirit of red music is eternal, it can never be lost".

Music theorist and critic Nguyen Quang Long commented: "A high-class live show that touches the emotions of the audience. I think with programs like this, our popular music industry will have brilliant development."
He added that the Music Director - musician Duong Cam has exploited the role of the symphony orchestra very well following the trend of young musicians which is pop - symphony, creating elegance, freshness, and world-like approach to Vietnamese revolutionary songs. Dang Duong himself creates a difference in the way he sings with pauses.
"This cannot be considered as renewing revolutionary songs but rather elevating revolutionary songs," music critic Nguyen Quang Long commented.
Dang Duong (born 1974) is a singer specializing in chamber music and red music.
In 1998, at the Student Singing Festival, he, Trong Tan and Viet Hoan debuted with the song The Road We Go. From then on, the trio Dang Duong - Trong Tan - Viet Hoan quickly received the love of music lovers.
While many of his colleagues have collaborated with contemporary singers, Dang Duong has remained loyal to classical and revolutionary music for the past 30 years.
Regarding his personal life, Dang Duong has a happy marriage with his wife Kim Xuyen - who used to be a pop singer of Military Region 2.
