Speaking at the ceremony, Lao Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Darany Phommavongsa emphasized: "The Lao Cultural Week in Vietnam will contribute to strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Laos and Vietnam."
“On this occasion, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam for its efforts and close coordination, contributing to the successful organization of the Lao Cultural Week in Vietnam. May the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam be forever green and sustainable,” said Deputy Minister Darany Phommavongsa.
Expressing his thanks to Deputy Minister Darany Phommavongsa and the delegates of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong said that the relationship between Vietnam and Laos is a special relationship with a history of exemplary cooperation, rare in the world . The two countries "lean on" the majestic Truong Son mountain range, and drink the same water from the Mekong River.
Emphasizing President Ho Chi Minh 's advice: "Vietnam and Laos, our two countries - The love is deeper than the Red River and Mekong River", Deputy Minister Ho An Phong affirmed that the comprehensive friendship and cooperation between the two countries was built and nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh and the leaders of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to become increasingly close and profound.
Over the past years, the two countries have strengthened comprehensive cooperation in many aspects. In the field of culture, sports and tourism, the two countries have had meaningful, effective and rich exchanges and cooperation. Cooperation in socio-economic development, national defense and security has made good progress... worthy of the long history and tradition of the two countries.
