This year's "virtual" filtering of admission wishes will take place in 9 days. The Ministry of Education and Training will run a "virtual" filtering system for all admission methods, processing admission wishes on the common system to determine the highest wish among the wishes that the candidate is eligible to be admitted.
The "virtual" filtering of admission wishes will be done 6 times on the system and end on the afternoon of August 20.
After that, the Ministry of Education and Training will transfer the "virtual" filtering results of university and college admission wishes for preschool education to schools to arrange, balance and prepare for the announcement of benchmark scores before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
The Ministry of Education and Training has requested that universities must not require candidates to confirm their admission or enroll before August 22 (including for training programs in cooperation with foreign countries); and must not finish confirming admission or enrolling before 5:00 p.m. on September 6 (including for training programs in cooperation with foreign countries).
In the first round of registration for university and college admissions for preschool education this year, more than 660,000 candidates nationwide completed entering their wishes into the system. The total number of wishes registered by candidates was more than 3.4 million, with each candidate registering on average more than 5 wishes. There were also about 292,000 students who did not register their wishes for the first round of admissions this year.
