Long Thanh implements Directive 50 on improving the quality of Party cell activities.

Farmers in Long Thanh commune expanded the area of vegetables, contributing to helping the locality exceed agricultural production targets and maintain new rural criteria.

In the third quarter of 2025, the Commune Party Committee successfully organized the first Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; strengthened Party building and the political system; paid attention to mass mobilization and social security work, mobilized the elimination of 83 temporary and dilapidated houses, and built and repaired 20 houses for policy households.

In the economic field, agricultural production achieved and exceeded many targets, in which vegetables and beans of all kinds were planted exceeding 107% of the plan, aquaculture exceeded nearly 50% of the resolution, with more than 11,100 tons; the whole commune has 5 3-star OCOP products. The commune maintained 19/19 new rural criteria and achieved 13/19 advanced new rural criteria; national defense and security were maintained, social order and safety were stable.

The conference deployed many contents: Resolution on leading the work of recruiting, selecting and calling citizens to join the army, the obligation to join the People's Public Security and the militia and self-defense force in 2026; plan to implement Directive 50-CT/TW of the Secretariat on improving the quality of Party cell activities; plan to apply the electronic Party member handbook; plan to mobilize resources to invest in traffic infrastructure in the period 2025 - 2030.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Long Thanh commune commended 5 collectives and 36 individuals with good achievements in implementing movements, participating in and serving the 1st Commune Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
