The only goal of the match was scored in the ninth minute, after a Bournemouth defender failed to clear the ball, allowing Casemiro to volley close to the goal without giving the goalkeeper a chance to block. Man Utd then squandered the opportunity and would have paid the price at the end of the match if it weren't for the talent of goalkeeper David de Gea. This victory puts Man Utd just one win away from a Champions League spot, in the next two games.
