Mbappe and 4 Real Madrid players were rated below average

Goal.com rated the players after the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 semi-final between Real Madrid and PSG. Real Madrid had 5 players with below average scores, three of which could be called "disasters".

Real Madrid players who are rated below Real Madrid average are Kylian Mbappe (4/10), Raul Asencio (3/10), Antonio Rudiger (3/10), Jude Bellingham (4/10), and Vinicius Jr (3/10).

Goal.com described Mbappe's performance: "A match to forget against his former team. Hardly contributed anything in attack, even less in defense."

Meanwhile, Goal.com criticized Bellingham: "Almost invisible throughout the match - except for one or two decent dribbles. Being substituted after about 60 minutes was completely reasonable."

Among the 5 worst players on Real Madrid's side, the central defender duo Raul Asencio - Antonio Rudiger had a disastrous performance. Both made individual mistakes that directly led to Real Madrid's loss.

Goal.com called Rudiger's performance "abnormal" and said Asencio "collapsed" after making a mistake for the first goal. The pair were given a 3/10 rating, the lowest of any Real Madrid player.

Another name that also disappointed with a poor performance was Vinicius.

Goal.com rated the Brazilian star 3/10 with the comment: "Played very poorly on the right wing. Didn't know whether to go inside or stick to the wing, final passes were inaccurate, and almost no support when he didn't have the ball."
