Director of the Social Policy Bank (SPB) of Me Linh district, Nguyen Xuan Phong, said that by the end of August 2023, the total outstanding balance of credit programs reached VND 540,411 million, a growth rate of 10.7%, an increase of VND 34,702 million compared to the beginning of the year. The disbursement progress of assigned credit programs reached 99.5% of the plan.
Specifically, the district Social Policy Bank has disbursed 115 billion VND to 4,955 customers. Of which, the disbursement for the clean water and rural environmental sanitation program is 19,272 million VND; support for job creation, maintenance and expansion is 94,790 million VND; social housing program is 380 million VND; students are 200 million VND; non-public preschool and primary education facilities are 400 million VND. Policy credit capital has contributed to helping nearly 5,000 customers who are policy subjects have capital to invest in production and business.
