Microsoft advises PC users to update Windows immediately

According to Microsoft, the update named KB5039212 is focused on the Windows 11 operating system, helping to resolve a total of 51 recently discovered security flaws and promises to help protect hundreds of millions of users more securely.

In reporting specific patches, Microsoft said that a total of 18 bugs correspond to remote code execution, or RCE. The most important is a zero-day vulnerability discovered and patched in Windows called KeyTrap - the vulnerability with the identifier CVE-2023-50868 affects the security of DNS servers and leads to denial of access. Along with that, the company also fixed 7 bugs in the Microsoft Edge web browser.

Experts at Microsoft recommend that if users discover some problems when using certain online applications, they should update and install the latest update for Windows 11 as soon as possible. To do so, users just need to access Windows Update in the system configuration section. The update will start downloading and installing.

As the company shared, Windows users need to update their devices as soon as possible to fix all the vulnerabilities that have been patched right now.
