Open online ticket sales for Gia Lam - Nanning international passenger train

Vietnam Railway Corporation has announced that it has started selling tickets online for international passenger trains from Gia Lam station to stations on the Gia Lam - Nanning route through the official website https://dsvn.vn of Vietnam Railways.

The online ticketing system is user-friendly and easy to use, allowing passengers to purchase tickets quickly and conveniently.

The Railway Industry opens online ticket sales for the Gia Lam - Nanning international passenger train.

Passengers buy tickets online and receive tickets at the station. Passengers access the website https://dsvn.vn, enter the departure station, arrival station, train date, select train MR1 and follow the instructions to book tickets. After completing the booking and payment process, passengers will receive a "Receipt" (can be via email or displayed directly on the system). The receipt is only valid to confirm successful train ticket purchase and is not valid for train travel.

Before the train departs, passengers need to arrive at the train station (listed on the "Receipt") approximately 1 hour in advance to check in and receive their tickets. The railway delivers tickets to passengers approximately 5 hours before the train departs.

Upon arrival at the station, passengers are required to present a valid passport with a valid visa (paper VISA); the receipt received when booking tickets online and the above documents will be checked and verified by the ticket sales staff at the station.

The ticket is the only valid document for traveling on an international train. Each receipt can only be used for one ticket claim. In case of lost ticket, the passenger will have to buy a new ticket according to current regulations. In addition, passengers can buy International Train tickets directly at ticket offices of railway stations nationwide.

The Railway Industry is continuing to work with the China Railway Industry to expand the online ticket sales method for passengers who need to buy MR1 International Transit train tickets that go beyond Nanning Station such as: Guilin North, Hengyang, Changsha, Zhengzhou, Beijing West on Tuesdays and Fridays every week. Currently, international transit train tickets to Nanning Station, passengers buy tickets directly at railway stations nationwide.

According to statistics, the number of passengers traveling by international train from May 26 to September 30, 2025 is 8,400, of which Vietnamese passengers account for 20%, Chinese passengers account for 75%, and other countries account for 5%.
