Thanks to many large orders, Song Cam Shipbuilding Joint Stock Company achieved pre-tax profit of more than 100 billion VND in 2024.

Song Cam Shipbuilding Joint Stock Company said that in 2024, it had constructed 59 new ships and 1 repaired ship; delivered 42 new products, 1 repaired product and other mechanical products. The total output value reached 1,105 billion VND, equal to 147% of the plan.

Total revenue from production and business activities reached 1,036 billion VND, equal to 166% of the plan. Pre-tax profit reached 101.6 billion VND, equal to 339% of the plan. Average income of employees reached over 17 million VND/person/month.

Mr. Dam Quang Trung, General Director of the company, said that Song Cam continues to diversify products, focusing on exporting shipbuilding products to the Damen Shipbuilding Group - Netherlands.

In addition, expand to new building and ship repair markets for other foreign customers, steel structure processing and manufacturing other mechanical products to proactively implement annual production plans.

In 2024, Song Cam signed a contract to build two new offshore service vessels for a new customer, the Norwegian company Myklebust/Rem offshore.

At the same time, improve and innovate technology step by step in the production line to promote increased labor productivity and improve the operational efficiency of units.

Production management is given special attention in all stages such as: planning, controlling the implementation of the plan; preparing production, preparing technical drawings, machinery, equipment, and materials before construction; setting up a system to monitor actual working hours, to analyze and evaluate the construction of each stage, thereby proposing measures to improve and reduce working hours.
