On June 15, Van Lang University (VLU) announced that it would spend more than 70 billion VND on scholarship programs and admission support for the year 2025.
According to the school representative, this policy aims to "not let any student give up on university due to financial difficulties".

The scholarship package is divided into many groups, in which the school focuses on encouraging key fields of study in the technology - engineering sector through the Tech for Future scholarship policy to encourage students to pursue fields of technological innovation and sustainable development.
Scholarships are considered based on entrance scores with values ranging from 20% to 100% of the first semester tuition fee. All new students admitted to the 7 majors that the school has specially invested in for sustainable development goals, including: computer networks and data communications, information systems, environmental engineering technology, environmental resource management, thermal engineering, traffic engineering and construction management will receive a 100% scholarship for the first semester tuition fee, regardless of entrance scores.
At the same time, new students with good academic performance and excellence in fields other than technology and engineering will receive scholarships of 30-50% of the first semester tuition. At the same time, the school also offers talent scholarships for candidates with outstanding achievements in studying, foreign languages, sports, arts, scientific research, entrepreneurship, community activities...
The scholarships apply to both standard and special training programs with a total of 300 scholarships, including 30 scholarships worth 100 million VND, 90 scholarships worth 50 million VND and 180 scholarships worth 25 million VND.
In addition, Van Lang University also implements accompanying scholarships to expand access opportunities for special groups, promoting equity in education .
Specifically, new students majoring in Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology are supported with 20% of the full course tuition fee. Female students majoring in Technology and Engineering are entitled to an additional 5% scholarship of the full course tuition fee.
The school supports 10-50% of the full course tuition fee for students from policy families, ethnic minorities, those in difficult circumstances, people with disabilities or whose relatives are studying, teaching or working at the school.
In 2025, Van Lang University will enroll more than 60 regular university training majors with many admission methods, including considering high school graduation exam scores, capacity assessment and academic records.
