Cao Xanh Ward Fatherland Front: Caring for people's lives

The Front Working Committee and the Cao Xanh 4A Ward Party Cell (Cao Xanh Ward) successfully mobilized people to donate land to expand the road connecting groups 42-57.

As the most populous neighborhood of Cao Xanh ward, with 826 households and over 3,600 people, many years ago, the urban technical infrastructure of Cao Xanh 4A area still had many shortcomings. The alleys were small and narrow, with many curves... making it difficult for people to travel, especially during rush hours. But the biggest concern was that after each heavy rain, many roads were deeply flooded, posing a potential safety risk to pedestrians.

In order to improve the landscape, urban beautification, and improve the quality of life for the people, recently the Cao Xanh 4A Neighborhood Front Committee has coordinated with the Neighborhood Party Cell to promote propaganda and mobilize people to donate land and contribute funds to expand and upgrade roads. Up to now, many roads have been completed with 100% of the funds contributed by the people. Typically, the inter-group road 42-57 is more than 200m long, people voluntarily donated nearly 30m2 of land, contributed 180 million VND to widen the road surface from 2.5m to 4.5m.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quan (group 42) shared: After the Neighborhood Front Working Committee came to discuss and mobilize people together, join hands to implement socialization of the route Road 42-57 , my family and other households have unanimously contribute funds to carry out the project. Now we, the people, are very happy because we have a clean, spacious and convenient road for daily activities in the area .

Nguyen Hoang Anh (born in 2013) in group 33, Ha Khanh 5 area has a particularly difficult family situation. His father has a mental illness, his mother left home, since childhood Nguyen Hoang Anh had to live with his grandmother, who is now old and weak, without a stable source of income. To help Nguyen Hoang Anh overcome difficulties, go to school with peace of mind and have a better life, from July 2022 to now, the Ward Fatherland Front Committee has called for resources to sponsor him until he is 18 years old with a support level of 1 million VND/month. In addition, at the beginning of the school year and Lunar New Year, the Ward Fatherland Front also organized gift giving, encouraging Nguyen Hoang Anh to strive to improve in life and study.

With the motto "Using people's strength to take care of people's lives", since the beginning of the year, the Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Xanh ward has propagated and mobilized people to contribute over 834 million VND to expand and upgrade inter-zone roads; renovate sidewalks, make railings and flower roads; install 30 lighting bulbs on roads in residential areas, 20 artificial intelligence cameras to comprehensively monitor key and important locations, covering all directions in and out of the ward; support households in especially difficult circumstances, orphans, homeless elderly people...

The Ward Fatherland Front Committee also mobilized people to clean up the environment on main roads of the neighborhoods under the program "Sunday for a green Ha Long"; organized the dredging of many drainage ditches in residential areas to ensure ventilation and avoid flooding during the rainy and stormy season.

Along with that, the Ward Fatherland Front Committee also regularly organizes to grasp the ideological situation and legitimate aspirations of the people, promptly reflecting them to competent authorities for consideration and resolution.

Mr. Le Hong Hai, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Xanh Ward, said: Through the latest review, the whole ward currently has 195 cases with especially difficult circumstances, orphans, homeless elderly people who need attention and help from the community. In the coming time, the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward will continue to mobilize and call for support from organizations and individuals inside and outside the ward, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual love and affection, leaving no one behind.
