According to the December 25 report on the situation of labor, wages, bonuses and labor relations in enterprises in the province by the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (LĐTB&XH) Long An , the results of the 2024 New Year bonus report of 603 enterprises with more than 50,000 employees showed that the average bonus is 1 million VND/person; the highest level is 6 million VND/person; the lowest level is 100,000 VND/person (employees working less than 12 months).

Regarding Lunar New Year bonuses, the province has had 825 enterprises (with more than 105,000 employees) report. Accordingly, the highest bonus is up to 5.686 billion VND/person, belonging to a foreign-invested enterprise. The average bonus of this enterprise is 7 million VND/person, the lowest is 500,000 VND/person (employee under 12 months).
According to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Long An province, as of December 20, the province had 1,031 reporting enterprises, with more than 133,000 employees. Average income in 2023 reached 8.3 million VND/month, an increase of 1.22% compared to 2022.
Of which, enterprises with 100% state capital achieved 20 million VND/month; joint stock companies with state-controlled capital achieved 8.7 million VND/month; private enterprises achieved 7.8 million VND/month; enterprises with foreign investment achieved 8.3 million VND/month.
The highest salary paid to employees of a company with 100% state capital is 59.3 million VND; a joint stock company with state-dominated capital is 27 million VND/person; a private enterprise is 76 million VND/person; and a foreign-invested enterprise is 441 million VND/person.
Previously, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang also announced the 2024 Lunar New Year bonus with the highest level of more than 1 billion VND. This is the bonus level belonging to the private enterprise sector.
